Some of us are cruising to the Centerport YC in Northport this weekend. We are also having dinner there. If you would like to join us, let me know because mooring and dinner reservations are needed. Also, if I remember correctly, men need a collared shirt to get into the dining room.
Come on down and meet the members of Sheldrake Yacht Club at our annual ice cream social. Take the opportunity to enjoy some great ice cream and get to know everyone. Guests are always welcome to join us this Thursday, June 9 at 8pm at the Pavilion on Harbor Island, in Mamaroneck. I hope to see you there.

The time has come. After years of having that half peeled varnish look, I have decided to go naked. I have also decided that only one of us should go gray. From now until I get tired of it, the Italian stallion fantasy in me will be oiling my teak. Finally, a greaser, LOL. So if you see me in my Italian tuxedo, you'll know why. Stay tuned.
Aside from our regular business, we will be discussing the recent interest of some of our non boat owning members to collectively purchase a boat. A member has come across an interesting prospect. Our speaker, member Bruce Kalisch will lead a discussion about commissioning our inboard and outboard engines. All are welcome to attend. Our meeting is on Thursday, April 14, at 8pm, at the pavilion on Harbor Island, in Mamaroneck. Non members are welcome.
